Round-the-clock trading, is it a good or bad idea? #investing

Round-the-clock trading, is it a good or bad idea? The Nasdaq submitted paperwork requesting permission for a 23-hour trading day. This would allow international investors to trade US stocks during their business hours, but would also cause some issues here stateside. What do you think?
